Profile

Mr. Lukiko is a tutorial assistant at the Faculty of Law, Mzumbe University. He has recently completed the course requirements for Masters of Law (LL.M) studies at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. Lukiko specialises in Transnational Criminal Justice and Crime Prevention. His LL.M thesis sought to explore a sustainable anti-corruption regime for Tanzania.

Mr. Lukiko is a human rights and anti-corruption activist. He is an advisory member for the Childhood Development Trust Fund, an NGO based in Morogoro-Tanzania that strives to protect the welfare of marginalised children within Morogoro region, particularly Mvomero District. In 2013, he participated in the 3rd Annual Children Rights Conference and Moot Court Competition organised by Save the Children International – Kenya at Kabarak University. Between May 2015 and April 2016 he was involved as Researcher in a “Study of drivers of violence against children and positive change in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar”. The Study was commissioned by UNICEF to Mzumbe University and University of Huddersfield.
